I accidentally graced one of my favorite buttons on this touchpad... and wiped out the origional post (post in composition, now post en mortum).
I recieved my new ITX system today. The primary cause for this purchase is for the Case and PSU (see previous post), as it comes with a Morex 2266 case, a 80psu kit, and a VIA C3 motherboard/cpu combo.

The VIA C3 processor is decently fast for the task, 1Ghz, it's enough to run windows 2000, xp, and linux (livecd, however) without any lag. Online... is horrible. Flash will terminate this board if I didn’t stop it. Adobe Flash is horribly optimized, if you look at Silverlight, the same features run far faster on this device. Good thing Silverlight is here, even if one hates it, it still puts a bonfire (maybe a small fusion reaction) under Adobe’s soft spot. This is why Flash doesn’t work on the iPhone… yet. Back on topic, flash doesn't run well, or at all. The MSN homepage will be the death of this. At least the xbox homepage runs well...

After long, painstaking, deep consideration, after almost 2 hours of thought... I sold it. Put it's soul online for anyone to buy... the board comes free with it.

Why? Because of it's dx10, Crysis 'ultra-high', HDMI supporting, 1080p... UniChrome Pro. It almost runs the directx demos. Tech demos! Barely! Run! But it can do DVDs and has a composite video (weeeeeeeee!) and s-video (now we're getting serious) outpust (what!? ONLY!?) and a VGA (okay... at least that can drive HD), that seriously show the limits of this GPU (if, and only if, one dares to call it as such) at any resolution higher then 1024x768 (that ain't HD...).

But on the other hand, it's a great, extremely low power, file, web, dns, server. it has enough ram to do Active Directory (192 recommended, 1gb supplied) on windows 2000 Advanced Server, and low enough power draw 9estimated around 30w, under load, to stay on for a while without racking up a serious bill. 30w is about 10w less then a night light... Now if only the network router saved as much power...

Thanks for caring!

Guess what!
It ain't here yet.

A good ebay link - for those who don't get it.

I'm looking into this primarily for the case and power supply unit, and hope to expand upon that. The motherboard is almost dated, so I will be getting a new one as soon as funds are avaible (and POV releases the board).
